Dr Caswell of Spaceport Australia (www.spaceportaustralia.com.au) concentrates her research efforts on increasing human wellness and survivability in the space environment. Redefined Wellness (TM).
Dr Caswell is available for consultancy roles: space medicine, remote and rural medicine, disaster preparation, project design and management, lecturing and teaching.
Meet Dr Gabrielle M Caswell
Dr Caswell is actively involved in the aviation and space industries. She created an independent research hub Spaceport Australia Pty Ltd (www.SpaceportAustralia.com.au) pre-dating the Australian Space Agency, to encourage novel research and problem solving approaches to space medicine, human liveability in microgravity and space environments.
She occupies the rare position of practitioner-scholar, and is
the only clinician to own a spaceport; Spaceport Australia is a member of the Global Space Port Alliance (www.globalspaceportalliance.com).
Dr Caswell has 25 years' experience contributing to government bodies, commercial media, drafting legislation, guidelines and requirements. She is a seasoned lobbyist.
As a scientific communicator and STEM advocate, Dr Caswell attends and lectures at national and international conferences and forums.

Dr Caswell is a fellow of ACRRM, RACGP, ACAM, AsHFA and a retired fellow-CPCA.

Dr Caswell is a practicing, registered medical doctor (practitioner) who works in rural and remote Australia. Previous to studying medicine she was a professional scientific diver and ecological laboratory manager.
She is also a trained molecular biologist, archaeologist and anthropologist; and is qualified in a wide range of life sciences, including mycology, virology, soil science, benthos taxonomy and botany.
